A Sign That the Country's Gone Downhill

"Cool" people used to be called cats. "Hey, man, that is one cool cat." Now cool people are called "Dawg." Another sign that the country's gone downhill since the old days.

Although, it started as more of a cultural thing, it's definitely leaked out into the mainstream.

I am a cat person. I've tried several times, quite unsuccessfully, to resurrect the word "cat" as an appellation.
